4 interesting applications in iPhone you may not know

There are some useful apps that aren’t taken out by Apple outside of the iPhone’s home screen or app library.

iOS has built-in many important applications, serving the work and daily life of users. However, there are still some other useful tools hidden by Apple. You cannot find it in the application library (App Library) or on the home screen.

Code Scanner

Users can scan QR codes by opening their camera Iphone. From iOS 14 and above, Apple also integrates a dedicated application called Code Scanner, but it is hidden.

Magnifier

To use, users perform the same process as above to bring Magnifier into Control Center of iPhone. Access included Settings > Control Center Scroll down to find Magnifier. Click on the + sign to move the application to the section Included Controls.

In addition to the slider to adjust the zoom level (or you can pinch your finger on the screen), Magnifier provides the option to change the brightness, contrast, color filter, take pictures, turn on the flashlight, settings.

Field Test Mode

This is a tool to help users check the signal strength of wireless connections easily. To use Field Test Mode, you should first turn off Wi-Fi in Control Center or Settings.

Then, open the Phone app, enter the string *3001#12345#* and press the Call button. This will bring up the Field Test Mode dashboard, where the user can see which mobile band is connected, the signal strength, etc.

Feedback Assistant

If you identify an error while using an Apple product, you can use Feedback Assistant (on iOS 12.4 or later) to report it to the company.

By default this feature is turned off. However, users only need to open Safari, type in the address bar the line applefeedback://. This will trigger Feedback Assistant, prompt the user to sign in with their Apple ID, and report an error.
