On the morning of March 21, the Binh Thuan provincial People’s Committee has just decided to set up a COVID-19 collection and treatment facility on floors 1, 2 and 3 of the Southern Regional General Hospital in hamlet 8, Nam Chinh commune, Duc .Sacred district.
Thus, this COVID-19 treatment facility has a scale of 140 beds, where the first floor treats mild and asymptomatic patients, the second floor treats moderate and severe patients, Level 3 treats patients at severe and critical levels.
The function and duty of the hospital is to organize the collection, isolation, monitoring, examination, and treatment of COVID-19 patients in the province. Transfer severe cases or complications requiring intervention to a higher level (if any) for follow-up monitoring and treatment.
The Provincial People’s Committee assigned the Health Office to direct the activities of health examinations and treatment at the South Hospital in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health. In addition, coordinate with the Ministry of Finance and related units to advise the Provincial People’s Committee to ensure facilities, equipment, medical supplies and operational funds for the Men’s Southern Regional General Hospital.
The Provincial People’s Committee asked the Metro Jaya Police to assign a task force at the South Hospital to ensure COVID-19 patients do not voluntarily leave the hospital and maintain security and order in and out of the hospital.
The patient with COVID-19 recovered and was discharged from the hospital in Binh Thuan.
On the night of March 20, Binh Thuan province recorded 518 positive cases of SARS-CoV-2, including 147 cases in concentrated isolation areas, 371 cases in the community.
Cases of infection by locality include: 7 cases in Phan Thiet city; City of La Gi 15 cases; Tanh Linh district 177 cases, Phu Quy 72 cases, Tuy Phong 16 cases, Ham Thuan Bac 75 cases, Ham Tan 35 cases, Duc Linh 34 cases, Bac Binh 9 cases, Ham Thuan Nam 78 cases.
Regarding new cases, as of March 20, Binh Thuan province traced 419 F1s.
