Nam Dinh invested over 25 billion VND to upgrade and renovate Thien Truong Stadium

To meet the requirements of the 31st SEA Games Organizing Committee, from June 2021, Nam Dinh province has upgraded and repaired Thien Truong stadium, including the following items: grass surface, lighting system, board fixed electronic equipment, the working room of the Organizing Committee, the security room, the toilet area, the changing room, the press conference room, the medical room, the sampling and doping testing room, etc., with a total budget of over 25 billion VND. .

Thien Truong Stadium has a capacity of 20,000 seats – is one of the large stadiums with synchronous and modern investment in Vietnam. In a row of V.League 2021 and V.League 2022 seasons, Thien Truong Stadium was chosen to host the opening match of the season. Volunteers will help the Organizing Committee to support and guide sports delegations; ceremony reception; presenter, interpreter; do logistics duties, serve at the stadium, where the delegations eat and rest; welcome and support delegations at medical facilities, airports, hotels…

The 31st SEA Games men’s football will kick off from April 6 to May 22. At Thien Truong Stadium, the matches of Group B will take place, while the matches of Group A where the Vietnamese team is participating will take place at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho). The semi-finals and final of men’s football were held at My Dinh National Stadium.
