My wife was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer

Last year my wife and I bought a house and the debt has not been paid off. With hard work, we will pay off our debt next year. But the happy days didn’t last long when my wife found out that she had lung cancer Phase 2.

When I heard the news, I was depressed for a week straight. In those days, I neglected work, indulged in alcohol and got drunk every night. It wasn’t until I heard my wife cough and cry a lot that I woke up.

I think a lot, if my wife is sick and I live alone, who can my wife and children depend on? So I stopped drinking, went back to work and encouraged my wife to rest in peace.

Since being diagnosed with the disease, my wife’s health has deteriorated very quickly. She quits work, doesn’t want to eat and housework. So, after every day of work at the office, I rush home to cook and bathe my children.

A few days ago, my wife had a fever, was tired, pale, and coughed a lot. I gave money to my wife to go to the hospital for examination and treatment. But his wife just hummed and refused to go. When I saw my wife coughing up blood, I couldn’t be patient anymore. Me take a break from work and took his wife to the doctor.

However, his wife refused to go, just sat in the room, saying that if he was cured, he would die, so he did not cure anything. Frustrated, I carried my wife to the car quickly. His wife struggled to not go to treatment. I asked why she didn’t want to live anymore?

She said with tears in her eyes that the day her husband found out that his wife was sick, he said: “My grandmother’s illness is going to be treated for money, I don’t have any money. I’m a man with a life of suffering”.

My wife said that my statement made her think a lot, see herself as useless, making her husband and children miserable. My wife will wait for death to come slowly and not use a single penny of my money for treatment.

My wife’s words made me deeply regret. I must have had a little yeast at that time, so it hurt my wife’s spirit. Now I don’t know what to say to get her to go to the hospital?
