The image of Vietnam Airlines appeared on a hot air balloon at the APEC Statue Garden Park, Da Nang on March 27 to celebrate the city’s reopening of international routes.
The hot air balloon festival organized by the Danang Department of Tourism, the Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company (AHT) is one of the activities marking the success of the project. The city on the banks of the Han River reopened international flights after a long time of separation because of Covid-19. A large number of tourists have come to visit and experience hanging flights at an altitude of 15m to 40m, watching the scenery of Da Nang city in miniature. In the plan to restore international routes to Da Nang, Vietnam Airlines will operate the Da Nang – Singapore route from April 15 with a frequency of 3 round-trip flights per week, departing from Da Nang on Monday. , Wednesday, and Friday and depart from Singapore on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. From July, Vietnam Airlines plans to resume flights connecting Da Nang with Seoul (Korea) and Tokyo (Japan).
In addition, from April 15, Vietnam Airlines also exploits more routes connecting “lion island” with Nha Trang and Phu Quoc, increasing the frequency of Hanoi – Singapore routes to 4 flights per week and Ho Chi Minh City – Singapore to 3 flights per day to meet the needs of passengers.
