VietinBank received 2 major awards from IFC in Trade Finance

On March 23, 2022, the representative of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) – a member of the World Bank Group (World Bank Group) presented the award “Best Issuing Bank in East Asia – Pacific Region”. ” (Best Issuing Bank Partner in East Asia and the Pacific) and “Best Bank Partner in Trade Finance” Award for Climate Trade in East Asia and the Pacific) for VietinBank.

The award “Best Issuing Bank in East Asia – Pacific” and “Bank with the best transactional environment in the East Asia – Pacific region” are the recognition of IFC to VietinBank in the Global Trade Finance Program (GTFP) of IFC.

GTFP is a cooperation program to support the development and improve the capacity of banks in shopping mall operations by providing guarantees to guarantee payment obligations in shopping mall transactions; thereby helping many countries and businesses in emerging markets participate in the global supply chain. After 17 years of implementation, GTFP now has more than 500 members who are major banks in the world.
