The content of the exam for excellent students in Literature in Nghe An province for the school year 2021 – 2022 is as follows: “An ant wanted to climb a porcelain wall, but every time it failed, it fell to the ground. However, it still managed to climb up. One person after seeing the scene immediately said: “What a great ant, failed but still refused to compromise, continue to aim for the goal ahead”. Another looked back and said: “What a pitiful ant, what a confusion, if it had changed its course, it would have reached its destination.” My thoughts on the two opinions above.

Pham Thanh Huyen (SN 2007), Nghi An Commune Secondary School (Vinh City) with 16.75 points in Literature is one of the five students who won the first prize.

Huyen shared about the above question very quickly: “I finished reading the question and found it quite good and close to the reality of life. When faced with difficulties, we have many ways to choose and cope. For this exam, I find it really new and more creative than the questions of previous years.

From the story of the first opinion, it opens for the reader to think about the value in life, how each of us copes with pressure and difficulties. As a candidate taking the exam, I am gradually improving myself, so this is really a memorable experience, to learn and grow more.”

Huyen sees it from the perspective of “the ant climbs up and then falls down again and fails”. This is a demonstration of determination, constant effort, patience, perseverance and that is something we all have to learn. However, when facing challenges, we must not only make persistent efforts, but also know about the spirit of dealing with many perspectives. From there to save yourself both time and effort.

“The image of an ant climbing many times may not be successful for a while, but it is a valuable lesson for the ant in the future,” Huyen said with a smile.

In relation to herself, Huyen found that in her studies, there was also a shadow of “ant”. Therefore, I always have a new and creative perspective to suit the situation. However, I do not deny that I always have to persevere and make a lot of efforts.

“Never stop trying to study hard, but need to have a multi-dimensional and flexible view when communicating with teachers and friends. From there, to realize what I am lacking in and constantly improve myself in studying “- Huyen said confidently.

When putting herself in the ant’s situation, Huyen received shared that: “I will use both of the above ideas of the ant and use more willpower and energy to move. However, if moving without effort, creativity, adapting to difficulties and external events, it will be difficult to succeed.”

In addition to studying at school, Huyen comes home to help 3 children take care of their studies and parents in trading and small business.

Sharing with PV, teacher Uong Dinh Duong, teacher of Literature at Nghi An Secondary School, directly fostered and led Pham Thanh Huyen to assess: “This year’s exam for excellent students in Nghe An province is very good and extensive. knowledge and vision for high school students. From learning theory to practice, students face practical difficulties every day. This exam has great practical knowledge value for students. From there, we can draw many valuable and useful lessons in life in the future.”

According to teacher Duong, for many months before the exam, both teachers and students had to go through many days of hard work.

“Due to the epidemic, teachers and students had to study online, many times while studying, the network was interrupted. There was no other way, he called the cell phone, each call lasted more than 1 hour. This is really a very memorable memory in my teaching career that has never happened,” – teacher Duong recalled.

Principal of Nghi An Secondary School (Vinh City) Banh Thi Thuy Ha said that the school is located in the suburbs of the city, and online learning conditions are very difficult. Over the past 10 years, the school has not had any first prizes at the provincial level, especially in Literature and Language Arts.

“From the 8th grade, the teachers discovered that Huyen had good qualities in literature and began to practice. Due to the local nature, parents are mainly engaged in farming, and the conditions for raising children are not uniform. Teachers at the school only dare to think that achieving city-level achievements is difficult, few think about students winning higher prizes “- Ms. Ha shared.
