Arrest 11 subjects related to murder in Ho Chi Minh City

Previously, on the afternoon of March 24, people discovered a man’s body at the embankment of Rach Dua river, group 1A, hamlet 4B, Binh My commune (Cu Chi district), next to a motorbike. Old and broken, vehicle registration in Binh Phuoc province.

When investigating the scene, the local police suspected that the victim was murdered, so they reported it to the Board of Directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department and the professional departments that have entered the investigation.

The police recorded that the victim is a man, 40-45 years old, the date is unknown. The victim had a wound on his right thigh, the cause of death was shock and blood loss due to being stabbed in the thigh, broken arteries and veins.

By professional measures, the police determined that the victim was a drug addict and had used drugs before being murdered and had met some young people in the Rach Dua river area. The police located the number of subjects, but these people fled, causing the reconnaissance force to focus on tracking.

On the morning of March 28, scouts broke into a motel in Binh Phuoc, arresting 4 related subjects. Then, in turn, 7 more subjects were arrested or surrendered.

From the drug robbery

It is known that the first suspect that the police located was Nguyen Ngoc Minh Hieu, a drug dealer in the Rach Dua river area. After the murder, Hieu was not present in the locality, but the police tracked it down and invited him to work.

Hieu made a crooked declaration and said that that afternoon he sat fishing at Rach Dua river. But from the injuries on his body, the police struggled and Hieu revealed important details.

Hieu admitted that, on the afternoon of March 24, he brought a fishing rod to Rach Dua river to pretend to be fishing to sell drugs to addicts. After a while, a group of young people came to ask to buy drugs but then attacked Hieu and stole all the drugs that Hieu brought, even one object stabbed Hieu’s shoulder with a knife.

At this time, a man with a needle approached, the drug gang used a knife to attack this man. Particularly Hieu was robbed of all drugs and the amount of 900,000 VND he brought with him, but he escaped and ran to the hospital to bandage his wounds.

From Hieu’s declaration, the police quickly located a group of robbers led by Do Tuan Thanh. Reconnaissance tracked to Ho Tram area, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, but they moved to Phu Rieng district, Binh Phuoc province.

At dawn on March 28, scouts ambushed Thanh and three accomplices at a motel in Phu Rieng. The related objects also fell into the net in turn.

The subjects admitted, after drinking on the afternoon of March 24, they invited each other to rob Hieu’s drugs and money in Rach Dua river. In it, the subject Nguyen Ngoc San directly stabbed Hieu in the shoulder with a knife. Subject Thanh directly controlled and robbed Hieu’s money.

While they were robbing, a strange man with a needle came close to stab San, so San used a knife to attack, stabbed in the thigh, causing this man to fall to the ground and die afterwards.

When they heard that the victim was dead, the group of subjects split up to flee, but within a few days, they were arrested in turn.

Ho Chi Minh City police are looking for the victim’s whereabouts and suggest that anyone who knows the identity and background of the victim can report it to serve the investigation.
