The 7th grade male student and his friends asked his family to go out but did not return in the evening, then the family dived in the river near the house and discovered their bodies.

On the morning of April 16, two 7th grade boys who died from drowning in Binh Thuan were buried by their families.

Before that, at about 3pm, on April 15, 13-year-old NMD, residing in Van Lam village, Ham My commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, asked her family to go out with her friends but did not return in the evening. Suspecting something bad, D’s family split up to search and found that the river near 3km from home had 2 pairs of sandals and a bicycle.

Family members and neighbors split up to dive into the river to search. At about 21 o’clock on the same day, the body of D. was found with his schoolmate, a 13-year-old boy, residing in Ham My commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, at the end of the river, not far from the location where the two pairs of sandals were discovered.

It is known that NM and NTD are classmates in 7th grade at Ham My Commune Secondary School, their homes are about 5km apart.

The young woman, whose father is from Quang Binh province, comes to work as a tenant in a dragon fruit garden in Ham My commune. Her family situation is very difficult. The family is expected to wait for the child to study for about 1 more month and then move to Ho Chi Minh City to live near the mother who is working there.
