Micro robot can treat brain diseases

Robots only a few millimeters long, shaped like a small bullet, implanted in the human brain via injection. The robot will then slowly follow the pre-programmed trajectory.

The robot is controlled through a magnet, so it does no harm to the human body. Magnetic coils placed outside the patient’s skull are linked to a computer that can be controlled remotely.

Unlike a magnetic resonance imaging machine, the entire device can be easily transported and uses 10 to 100 times less electricity.

Clinical trials are expected to be conducted in the next 2 years.
