The Ministry of Public Security has conducted field visits to a total of 9 projects in Binh Thuan, in order to deal with sources of denunciation of crimes related to these projects.
On April 26, the working group of the Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Supreme People’s Procuracy, Binh Thuan Technical Center for Natural Resources and Environment, to conduct field visits at the project. This is the last project in 9 projects in Binh Thuan that the Ministry of Public Security inspects in the field to investigate signs of violations in the management and use of state assets, causing losses and waste; violates land management and abuses positions and powers while performing official duties.

Project Hong Liem oil forest over 3,200 ha, of which 1,500 ha is a rare and precious natural oil forest (belonging to group IIB), invested by Rang Dong Joint Stock Company (Rang Dong Company) with a capital of about 2,300 billion VND, approved by Binh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee. approved in 2008. The objective of the project is to protect, zone, regenerate, plant and develop oil forest plants, some rare and common animal species.
Currently, the project campus has been built with a concrete fence with a height of more than 3 m. In addition to the available, natural animals, the investor also buys a number of animals from abroad to breed to develop the eco-tourism area.
Recently, Rang Dong Company was fined nearly 600 million VND by the People’s Committee of Binh Thuan province for changing the purpose of land use without permission from the competent authority, as well as building many eco-tourism projects. and business scale, but no environmental impact assessment.

Before that, the Ministry of Public Security had carried out field inspections of 8 projects suspected of wrongdoing, including: Hon Lan tourist area; Phan Thiet beach tourism urban area (converted from golf course); The encroachment area of Duc Long ward; Que Huong beach resort; Le Quy Don Kindergarten; Tan Viet Phat residential and commercial area 2; Elysium and Xuan Quynh eco-tourism; Complex of Hung Long Regulatory Reservoir.
Project Le Quy Don Kindergarten over 4,700 m2 in the “golden land” location of Phan Thiet city (formerly the night market) invested by Hoa Thang Education Investment Co., Ltd. On the same day, the working group also inspected the project Elysium and Xuan Quynh travel nearly 4 hectares wide in Mui Ne ward. This project was approved for investment by the province in 2001 but until now, the surrounding fence has only been completed and construction has not been implemented.
