At 8 pm on April 28, the Vietnamese sports delegation held a ceremony to attend the 31st SEA Games

The 31st SEA Games is coming very close and at this time, the Vietnamese sports delegation is also preparing to complete the preparation work both in terms of expertise and facilities. Tomorrow, the Vietnamese sports delegation will also express that in its departure ceremony.

As planned, at 8 pm tomorrow (April 28), the departure ceremony of the Vietnamese sports delegation attending the 31st SEA Games will be held at the National Sports Training Center in Hanoi. At the ceremony, the official attire of the Vietnamese sports delegation at the congress as well as the prizes for the medal winners will be announced.

This event is expected to be held briefly but solemnly, in order to arouse the spirit and dedication of the athletes before entering the Grand Festival of the region.

As the host, the Vietnamese sports delegation will send the most powerful force with over 1,300 members, including more than 900 athletes. This year, our athletes will compete in all 40 sports of the 31st SEA Games.

The goal of Vietnamese sports is to top the overall medal table of the Games and is expected to win 140 gold medals, 77 silver medals and 71 bronze medals. In particular, the forte content can be mentioned as Pencak Silat, athletics, shooting, swimming or sailing. The two men’s and women’s soccer sports set the goal of defending the gold medal.
