Poland buys Russian gas through Germany

According to the spokesman of Russian Energy Corporation Gazprom, after Russia stopped supplying gas due to Poland’s refusal to pay in RubleRussian gas will go to Poland backwards from Germany via the Yamal-Europe pipeline.

“This week, Poland refused to pay for Russian gas imports under the new mechanism, in rubles. It has officially announced that it no longer needs Russian gas and will no longer buy it. However, the reality is again. not so.

The volume of gas transferred back to Poland is about 30 million m3 per day, almost corresponding to the amount of gas in the previous contract between Poland and Gazprom.

Earlier, Gazprom announced officially to completely stop supplying gas to 2 companies Bulgargaz (Bulgaria) and PGNiG (Poland) because they did not pay gas in ruble on time, according to the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin issued March 23 for countries that are not friendly with Moscow.
