Appears a scary Chinese horror game no less than the legendary PT
The demand of the gaming community for psychological horror games seems to have never waned. With many people still looking for a game that provides an unforgettable experience of PT, many game makers have to embark on projects inspired by PT. Recently, a new psychological horror game called No Return is expected to release in 2022.
Over the past few years, gamers have seen the rise of more horror titles, especially multiplayer horror titles. For example, Phasmophobia has received warm support from the gaming community because of its extremely creepy nature. Moreover, VR technology allows for a more horrifying experience for those who really enjoy the psychological horror genre. With No Return having the same first-person perspective as PT’s and Phasmophobia, the gaming community can expect this game to bring an equally scary experience.
As in a recent trailer, No Return has revealed that it will launch in the fall of 2022 for the PC platform. The game is being developed by an indie studio based in China called BlameTech. The development team consists of six people, with experience teaching as they worked at Tencent, NetEase and Vancouver Film School. According to the official description of No Return, the title revolves around a family tragedy in modern-day China. Gamers will find themselves trapped in a never-ending corridor loop, with mysteries to solve to get out of the situation.
According to the game’s Steam page, No Return’s gameplay will be inspired by Chinese folklore, and will involve puzzles to solve the mystery of the horrifying endless corridor. Similar to other upcoming horror titles like MADiSON and Luto, it looks like there will be a recurring theme of never-ending lobbies and family tragedies similar to PT.
No Return will launch for PC this fall 2022.
