At that time, Mr. K. and his wife were eating with 2 friends, Trieu Mui Kh. and Phung Duc N. (Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang), Ms. Kh. received a phone call from a gynecologist inviting him to the clinic. Ms. Kh. did not come because it was late.

Seeing that, Mr. N. took the phone to call a gynecologist to ask the reason for the medical examination in the middle of the night, which led to the exchange of words, challenging each other. After a while, a group of people in a 7-seat car arrived at Mr. K.’s house including a gynecologist, 2 people wearing police uniforms and a person claiming to be a ward official.

While two people wearing police uniforms demanded to arrest Mr. N. and put him in a 7-seater car, the man in a white shirt, claiming to be a ward officer, hit Ms. Kh in the face.

The man in a white shirt is said to be an officer in a ward in Cao Bang city who directed the police to arrest people and beat women.

According to Mr. K., after failing to catch Mr. N., the group of people mentioned above left. The next day (April 29), Mr. K. and his wife were invited to De Tham ward to write a report and provide a video recording of the incident.

Mr. K. added: “According to some witnesses to the incident at that time, the ward officer who beat Ms. Kh. and 2 people wearing police uniforms in the incident are currently working in Song Bang ward, Cao Bang city. “.

On the evening of May 2, information to PV Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung, Chairman of Cao Bang City People’s Committee, confirmed that the above incident happened in the area. The City Police and Cao Bang Provincial Police have entered into the verification process.
