Shivering special wine, with a whole worm inside

Often, Mexican chefs will add this worm to dishes, often fried and become a delicious snack with tequila.

In fact, this worm doesn’t taste so terrible. Some people feel nauseous after eating because of their psychology. When this worm is added to wine, people leave it alone, nothing is added.

The worms appeared in commercially sold tequila bottles around the 1940s or 1950s. It is thought to be just a gimmick to get people to buy more mezcal tequila.

Both tequila and mezcal are made by distilling agave. However, mezcal is made from a blend of 1 of 250 types of agave plants.
