The missing person is a grandson of DVC, born in 2016, residing in Pac Cai hamlet, Phan Thanh commune, Nguyen Binh district. On the afternoon of May 11, the child followed an adult to go fishing and fell into the Nang River, washed away, and disappeared.
According to information from the Standing Office of the Commanding Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention – Search and Rescue of Cao Bang Province, the missing person is a grandson of DVC, born in 2016, residing in Pac Cai hamlet, Phan Thanh commune, Nguyen Binh district. On the afternoon of 11/5, the child followed an adult to go fishing and fell into the Nang River and was washed away missing.

In the past few days, in Cao Bang, there has been heavy rain in some areas, causing local flooding of some crop areas along streams and lowlands in Quang Trong, Minh Khai communes, Thach An district; Thanh Nhat town, Ha Lang district. Heavy rain also caused provincial road 207 to be flooded at many points, filling the road surface, hindering vehicles participating in traffic.
