Over 100,000 Americans will die from drug overdoses in 2021

This is new data released in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic that has caused a crisis related to Addictive pain reliever and counterfeit drugs sold on online sites aggravated.

In April 2022, the administration of US President Joe Biden announced a national drug control strategy to address the crisis caused by untreated drug addiction and drug trafficking.

According to a survey conducted in 2020, of the 41.1 million people who need SUD treatment in the US, only 2.7 million people will receive treatment in a specialized facility in 2021. With the above strategy, Washington aims to expand treatment for SUD groups and increase funding for border control activities, strengthen the anti-drug agency.
