MU noticed, PSG rushed to win Frenkie de Jong
Paris Saint-Germain will become MU’s opponent in the race for the services of midfielder Frenkie de Jong this summer.
The Dutch player is likely to leave the Nou Camp in the context of Barcelona’s financial difficulties.

However, PSG are the latest team to express an interest in De Jong, as they want to strengthen their midfield after falling short of Paul Pogba.
Sport daily newspaper and a few other newspapers in France confirmed that PSG sporting director Luis Campos considers De Jong the top target in the list of midfield additions.
In 2019, PSG also invited De Jong when he left Ajax. However, the 25-year-old midfielder chose to join the Catalan team.
Barca now wants to collect at least £ 68 million from the sale of De Jong to solve the financial problems the club is facing.
Both MU and PSG tried to negotiate to convince Barca to lower the price. The final decision on the future will rest with De Jong personally.
