Quang Nam: The driving instructor cheated more than 400 million dong from students

On the afternoon of May 27, the police of Thang Binh district (Quang Nam) said they had detained Diep Hai Binh (SN 1995, Binh Trieu commune) for fraudulently appropriating property.

According to the investigation, Binh is a car driving teacher of a center in Quang Nam province.
Knowing that the demand for learning to drive a car is increasing, taking advantage of this, Binh collects records and money from many people to “teach to drive”.
However, Binh did not submit the students’ records to the center, but appropriated the money for personal consumption. On the day of the test, the students were not on the test list.
Frustrated that Binh made many promises but failed to take the test, the victims filed a complaint against Binh’s fraudulent behavior.
Through investigation, the police of Thang Binh district determined that the amount of money Binh appropriated was over 400 million VND.
