3 children in Quang Nam were bitten by dogs, 1 died

On the afternoon of June 2, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hung Son, Director of Quang Nam Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology, said that he is treating 2 babies with dog bite.
According to Mr. Son, 4 days ago, these two children were taken to the hospital for emergency with injuries caused by dog bites. Doctors have vaccinated two children against rabies. Currently, the health of the two children is stable, there are no signs of rabies.
However, the two babies need to be closely monitored because the incubation period for rabies lasts up to 3 months and 10 days.
According to the leader of Binh An commune (Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province), a few days ago, 3 children in An My village (Binh An commune) were playing in the yard when unfortunately a dog attacked.
A few hours later, Vo N.Th. (4 years old) died, the other 2 children were taken away hospital emergency. After the incident happened, the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology took samples of 3 victims for testing, the results were negative for rabies virus.
