A man rammed his car into a crowd in Berlin, killing a teacher, injuring 14 students

Authorities in the country denied a report by German newspaper Bild that the driver had left a confession letter in the car. Instead, investigators found posters about Turkey, which has a complicated relationship with Armenia.

“We have not yet clarified everything regarding the incident,” Berlin Mayor Franziska Giffey told reporters at the scene.

A spokesman for the Interior Ministry earlier told a regular press conference of the German federal government in Berlin: “It is too early to speculate on what caused the incident.”
