Despite being “warned” in advance, when they arrived, the wardrobe spa service staff was still stunned by the scene of thousands of clothes thrown around and messed up in the space of the apartment.

It is estimated that this is an “unprecedented” work, this unit has mobilized up to 9 professional staff to work for two days to conquer Quynh’s mountain map.

When the clothes are neatly folded, classified into zones according to the criteria of color, style, material …. Quynh only saw the airy space of the house. This woman seems to have found joy and relaxation in her heart. She feels that life is not so boring and suffocating as before.

Quynh’s story was shared by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Mai Quyen, sales director of a company that provides folding, cleaning, and wardrobe spa services in Hanoi. Dan Tri.

This service is quite new in our country. However, it developed in America, Japan very early. Recently in China, this profession is considered a “hot” profession, attracting thousands of people to study and make a living every year.

Grasping the trend of the world and domestic demand, more and more units of house cleaning, industrial cleaning and package moving have deployed this strange but very practical service.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Quyen shared, many customers come to complain that they feel lonely, overwhelmed by the huge mountains and they don’t know where to start. Busy lives make them not have much time to take care of their increasingly messy wardrobe.

“Too busy and too many clothes” is also the reason that Ms. Cao Thi Le Hien, owner of a wardrobe organization company often hears from her customers.

Ms. Hien shared, one day she received a phone call from a female customer in her 30s with a request to clean the laundry room within the same day. When Mrs. Hien wondered why the customer was in such a hurry, the woman explained that the next day the family invited friends to a party, so they wanted the house to be neat and clean.

“I thought it would only take about 3-4 hours to carry out the work as usual, but did not expect that we were really overwhelmed. The room of nearly 20 square meters, where the clothes of the customer and her two sons were stored, were almost There is no way,” Hien recalled.

Four employees of this company then have to work continuously from afternoon to 2 am to be able to sort and rearrange the wardrobe for the owner. In the huge closet, they found a lot of clothes with tags still intact, many of them with the same design that even the hostess doesn’t remember ever buying them,” said Mrs. Hien.

The secret to conquering difficult customers

According to PV .’s research Dan Tri, the service of folding clothes, cleaning the closet appeared in Vietnam from about the years 2019-2020. However, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, this service has only really reached customers recently. The units deploying this service have all learned and referenced the experience of spa wardrobes from Japan and China.

The price of this service ranges from 200,000-300,000 VND/hour/service staff. This service is most expensive at the time of the change of season, when customers change their accommodation, arrange, remodel their home, etc.

Normally, it takes staff from 4 hours to 1 day to conquer the wardrobe of customers. Therefore, the cost for each guest will be at least 1 million VND or more. There are also guests with a record number of clothes, the cost will reach tens of millions of dong.

The cost per cleaning of clothes is not low compared to the common ground. Therefore, many ordinary customers, when they hear the price, rush to “turn the car”.

However, wealthy families often don’t care about costs. What they focus on is how to make the wardrobe the neatest, most useful, most aesthetic and most scientific. “Many customers also think that, after using the service, they feel they have improved their aesthetics and are aware of the value of living a tidy and scientific life,” Ms. Quyen added.

Currently, most of the users of this service are rich, high-income families, the customers are singers, actors… Accepting to spend millions to hire people to clean the closet, they are often quite meticulous. , requires high work efficiency.

Therefore, these employees also need to have their own professionalism and methods so as not to be confused with a regular house cleaner.

“We have to research, develop and perfect our services to suit the common tastes of the majority of customers. In particular, we have to provide intensive training on skills for all professional staff. of the company”, Ms. Quyen said.

Ms. Dang Ngoc Bich, a professional closet cleaner, shared that when receiving each order, she and her colleagues usually follow the plan agreed upon by the manager and the landlord.

The customers she serves are all rich people who shop a lot. However, to each family, she is dedicated to doing her job, never discussing the issue of “shopping addiction” or “consumption psychology” of the owner. “Working to serve the rich, we have to be more careful and do our duty,” said Ms. Bich.

Cao Thi Le Hien said that each family has a different wardrobe space. Before starting to reorganize, the staff will often conduct a photo survey or come in person to know what types of clothes that customer has, what products they currently have in storage, then offer suitable solutions. “For example, there are families who have too many clothes but little storage space, they will be suggested to buy some types of baskets, some types of dividers,” said Ms. Lien.

Although the service is still quite new and serves the majority of wealthy families, the number of customers looking for rent is constantly increasing.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Quyen said: “In 2021, the number of customers who want the company’s wardrobe spa will double compared to 2020. 2022, in the first 5 months alone, about 700 customers have requested the service. Thus, on average, there are 4-5 customers who hire us to clean their closets a day. They are all high-income people and are foreigners living in Vietnam.”
