On May 22, the People’s Committee of Tan An Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province had an initial report on the case of the biological mother reporting fake news to declare the death of her 3-year-old son alive.

Accordingly, the People’s Committee of Tan An ward said that on May 11, NTTP (33 years old) came to register the death of her son, NHL (3 years old). During the working process, Ms. P. presented many related documents and declared that L. had suffered from severe pneumonia since birth. Her family had been treated in many places and could not be cured, so she took it home to take care of her.

Also according to the above report, Ms. P. claimed her son died at 6:30 p.m. on May 4. At the time of declaring the information, Ms. P. was very sad, so the judicial officer of Tan An ward was subjective, received the application and carried out the procedures to register the death of L. without carefully verifying it.

On May 20, the People’s Committee of Tan An ward received information asking to cancel the death certificate for L. from the Tan Loi ward police (because Ms. P. is temporarily staying at Tan Loi ward – PV). In the attached information, the police of Tan Loi ward said that Ms. P. had confessed because her biological father, L., always looked to her mother to put pressure and troubles on her life, so while mentally unstable, she did… death for the child. However, through verification and working with Ms. P, this person admitted that L. is living and being sent to Dak Mil district, Dak Nong province.

The father speaks out

Before being “accused” or beaten, causing trouble to his ex-wife’s life, on the afternoon of May 22, Mr. NTD (41 years old, her biological father L.) had a sharing session with PV Infonet about the family’s life. his family.

According to Mr. D., it is completely wrong that his ex-wife accused him of beating and abusing him, so he had to take the child to another province and make a death certificate.

According to Mr. D., in 2020, he and his wife divorced. At that time, L. was still young, so the court decided that the custody of the children belonged to Ms. P. However, after the day “everyone went their separate ways”, Ms. P. did not take care of the children but handed them over to Mr. D.

Because Ms. P. asked not to give her children to anyone, Mr. D. had to bring her son to Kon Tum province to live with her for convenience in work. On April 30, Mr. D. brought his son to Dak Lak and was taken care of by L.’s grandmother (P’s mother).

When he returned to Kon Tum province to work, Mr. D. often made video calls to see his son’s face so he wouldn’t remember. However, from May 12, Mr. D. called back and did not see his son, so he asked, his grandmother told him that P. had taken L. away.

On May 14, Mr. D. returned to Dak Lak and invited his ex-wife to have breakfast and drink coffee to ask to see their children, but Ms. P. did not agree and gave her grandson L’s death certificate. He did not believe that his son was dead. Mr. D. immediately went to Tan Loi ward police station to report and ask for support.

Mr. D. exchanged: “When working with the police, my ex-wife told me that her son was living and was sent to Dak Nong. It’s not true that she told me I bothered or beat her. I usually stay in Kon Tum, sometimes I come back to Dak Lak. Moreover, she did not raise the child, so I brought her to take care of her. I have not been able to see my child yet, so I am very worried, I hope the authorities will soon clarify. Later, I will sue in court to regain custody of the children.”

As Infonet reported, in mid-May 2022, Ms. P. went to the People’s Committee of Tan An ward to report fake news that her 3-year-old son had died to apply for a death certificate. After that, the child’s father’s relatives suspected that L. was still alive, so they reported it to the police. Initially working with the police of Tan Loi ward, Ms. P. admitted that her child was still alive, because her ex-husband used to disturb and beat her, so she took the above action.

The case is still under investigation by the authorities.
