A shop owner reported the theft of a series of gold rings, necklaces, and bracelets

The owner of a gold shop in the market of Thanh Tung commune (Dam Doi district, Ca Mau province) reported to the police that dozens of gold trees had been stolen.

On the afternoon of June 9, a leader of Ca Mau Provincial Police confirmed that the provincial police were in the process of verifying and clarifying the case that people reported that dozens of gold trees were stolen, worth about 3 billion VND.

According to initial information, around 7 a.m. on June 5, Thanh Tung Commune Police received a message from Mr. LKL, 47, from Cai Ngai hamlet, Thanh Tung commune, that his gold shop had been stolen.

Through inspection, the lost property included rings, necklaces, bracelets in 24k gold about 20 taels and some 18K gold about 70 to 80 taels. The total value of the shop owner’s assets is estimated at about 3 billion VND.

At the scene, the functional forces noted that the iron door of the gold shop had traces of being pry, the gold stored on the display tray in the cabinet was lost.

Through observing the camera, it was discovered that a male subject had committed the above act.
