Last week I was sick and had to take time off from work. That same day, my mother went to find a house to rent for her daughter another apartment and then hired someone to move our belongings to a new place. I followed my mother, left the divorce petition for my husband, and decided to end this already dead marriage.
It’s not an abusive husband, drinking, gambling, or adultery that’s scary. A heartless husband, treating his wife as the air, treating his family as just a place to sleep is actually really scary.
Seeing that I was determined to leave, my husband went down to the water to advise me to apologize, but to be honest, I was already as inert as a stone, with no more emotions.
