– Urine test: drink 500 ml of water then put a tampon or diaper in your underwear and do activities such as climbing stairs, sitting and standing, coughing, running in place. If there is urinary excretion and the weight of the tampon and diaper increases by more than 2g, see pelvic floor function immediately.

In addition, doctor Li Yanfeng also said that exercise can help protect and restore pelvic floor function, especially Kegel exercises.

Lying on your back on a hard surface, lift your knees and bend your legs. Then use force to lift your hips high in the abs, shins straight, tightening your pelvic muscles as if trying to hold your pee. Hold this position for 3-5 seconds then lower yourself down, rest for 2-6 seconds and keep repeating as above. Do it continuously for 15 – 30 minutes, repeat 3 times per day or 150 – 200 times per day.
