Agribank Asset Exploitation & Debt Management Company Limited (AMC) announces the auction to sell debts of Thanh Tung Private Enterprise to deal with bad debts.
It is known that the book value of debt of Thanh Tung Private Enterprise as of October 15, 2018 is more than 708.3 billion VND. In which, the outstanding principal is nearly 352.2 billion dong and the interest debt is more than 356.1 billion dong.
The starting price of this auction is 352.5 billion VND, down more than 52 billion VND compared to the starting price in the first auction.
Before that, Agribank also held auction for this debt for the first time with a starting price of VND 405 billion in November 2018. Since then, Agribank has held many auctions to sell this debt, but all were unsuccessful.
The collateral of the debt includes the right to use land for production and business in Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City with an area of more than 6,952 m2 and the property to be formed in the future is the entire construction value of the building. Hanh Phuc apartment was built on the above land.
Agribank said that the debt is auctioned according to its status (including the debt, legal status and potential risks) and according to the method of sale. Debt auction participants review debt records and determine the debt’s status according to actual status.
Using unofficial and unauthenticated information sources, Agribank and the auction organizer assess the possibility of the appearance of potential legal risks related to auction debt such as disputes between Thanh Hoa Private Enterprises. Tung and the parties related to the collateral for the debt; legal status of the property owner; debit customers.
