HOT: A plane carrying 132 people crashed in China
On March 21, China Central Television reported that a Boeing 737 passenger plane crashed in the south of the country.

Initial information said the plane had departed from Kunming city, Yunnan province and was on its way to Guangzhou city, Guangdong province.
Chinese news site Thepaper.cn said: “It is currently confirmed that the plane crashed and was destroyed. There were 132 people on the plane, including 123 passengers and 9 crew members. The Civil Aviation Administration of China activated the mechanism. emergency and send a working group to the scene”.

According to the Global Times, Wuzhou Emergency Management Office said it had sent a rescue team to the scene. According to Chinese media, flight number MU 5735 took off from Changshui International Airport, Kunming in Yunnan province at 13:15 (local time) and is expected to arrive in Guangzhou city of Guangdong province at 15. :07.
The plane in question belongs to China Eastern’s Yunnan subsidiary and has been in service for more than six and a half years. The aircraft was handed over in June 2015, with a total of 162 seats, including 12 business class seats and 150 economy class seats.
