Apple will launch new iPad Pro with M2 processor and MagSafe charger this year

According to the latest report of analyst Mark Gurman, Apple is likely to launch a new generation of iPad Pro equipped with M2 processor chip sometime between September and November this year. In addition, the new iPad Pro may also be equipped with MagSafe charging similar to the iPhone 13.

The biggest change to the iPad Pro came in 2018, when Apple used a completely new design, with flat beveled edges and more squared lines, a large screen with thin bezels and a USB-C connection.

Apple continues to upgrade iPad Pro with the powerful M1 processor chip, in May last year. Following this momentum, Apple will equip the M2 processor chip for the upcoming iPad Pro. Apple’s second-generation processor chip promises to be more powerful and power-efficient than before, thanks to the use of a more advanced manufacturing process.

Mark Gurman has also commented that the new iPad Pro will have a glass back and support MagSafe magnetic charging. However, the use of glass material on the large iPad Pro is quite risky. So Apple may consider continuing to use an aluminum back, but the missing apple logo will be made of glass to be able to use MagSafe charging.

Currently, information about the M2 processor is still quite small. However, Mark Gurman believes Apple will launch this processor this fall, which will power a range of new Mac computers due later in the year, including the 13-inch MacBook Pro, Mac Mini and iMac 24 new inches.
