On March 19, Princess Kate and her husband appeared in Belize City to begin a long trip to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Day.
On their Instagram account, Prince William and his wife have just shared a rare never-before-seen photo from inside their royal plane. The photo shows the back of the couple starting to get off the plane. Inside the compartment, there was a staff member in charge standing nearby.

Belize is the first of three Commonwealth countries that the Cambridges visit this time. The trip was scheduled to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum year, to strengthen ties with the Caribbean countries with which the ‘Queen has an incredibly warm relationship’.

Accordingly, the couple was forced to cancel their first visit in the Caribbean tour after a group of villagers organized a protest. The notice of the cancellation of William – Kate’s visit to India Creek, in the Orange Walk district, Belize was made by Kensington Palace on the night of March 18.
The reason is said to be because the villagers in Indian Creek were unhappy when William and Kate’s helicopter was allowed to land on the football field in the village without consulting the people. The protest is part of a longstanding conflict over land rights in India Creek.
According to British media, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left England at the end of March 18 (London time), to fly to Belize. Indian Creek is where William and Kate intend to visit first. Kensington Palace did not immediately respond to requests for comment, but aides confirmed the visit had been canceled and that the royal couple would take up other duties instead.
British media reported that, in addition to Belize, this week-long trip of the Cambridge family also took place in two other countries in the Caribbean, including Jamaica and the Bahamas.
