Vietnam Airlines suspends flights to Russia from 25/02

A representative of Vietnam Airlines said that the suspension of flight operations was because the airline needed to review and clarify procedures, requirements and regulations related to vehicle insurance and flight operations to Russia.

Affected passengers will be supported to refund tickets or change tickets free of charge to other flights when routes are restored.

Temporarily suspending flights between Hanoi and Moscow from March 25.

A representative of Vietnam Airlines said that it is working hard with relevant agencies to restore the operation of Russian routes as soon as possible. The airline also recommends that passengers regularly monitor and update information in the next announcements.

Previously, regarding the tense situation between Russia and Ukraine, the leader of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam said that there is only one national airline – Vietnam Airlines is operating a route to Moscow (Russia), but only flies to Moscow. over the territory of Russia and Western Europe, but not over Belarus and Ukraine.

Therefore, the international routes that Vietnamese airlines are exploiting are not affected by developments between these two countries.
