However, one detail perhaps Veloz Cross should add to match the other outstanding equipment of this model in the segment is the undercarriage. The engine and transmission part is clearly exposed when there is no chassis. In Vietnam, undercarriage is a simple but essential detail to protect the vehicle’s powertrain in bad road conditions. When the engine compartment is exposed as in the image above, users have reason to worry that during use, they will encounter an unnecessary collision and this area is very vulnerable.
Besides, some details are stamped with Daihatsu logo, not Toyota. This is understandable when the chassis is DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture) like Raize, not TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) like some other models like Corolla Cross or Corolla Altis. In foreign markets, this model is also known as Daihatsu Xenia.
Observing further, it is not difficult to realize that the front suspension on the Veloz Cross 2022 is MacPherson with a stabilizer bar and the rear is a torsion bar with a stabilizer bar.
