Hoang Bach can hold My Tam’s hand and walk on this road all the time

Regarding the memory of the first time studying at the Conservatory of Music more than 20 years ago, singer Hoang Bach confided:I started studying at the Conservatory of Music in 1996, when I was 16 years old. The road lined with flying tamarind leaves leading to the Conservatory is the most beautiful street in Saigon for me.

It is both a memory and a dream that I send back to my old friends. I love this road because it is still the same until now, many trees, many leaves flying down look very beautiful.

To this day I still play with those friends. I still remember there was a noodle shop with duck bamboo shoots, that day eating 2 thousand dong a bowl was very luxurious.

In the evening, I often go to play guitar at pubs, get extra money from customers to go to the noodle shop to eat. I play guitar for the pub, if it’s crowded, I get 70,000 a night, only 30,000 a day without customers. If there are additional customers, you will get 100 thousand.

Playing the piano is not my profession. I’m bad at playing the piano, so I don’t dare to play in the central area, so I have to go to remote pubs like Hoc Mon to practice. My job is to play the guitar for the guests to sing. The drinkers at that time often sang ‘Father’s Love’ and ‘Mother’s Love’ by Mr. Ngoc Son.

When I was a student, I also had many love affairs associated with this Conservatory because I was active in the group that day, with a gentle and friendly personality, so I was loved by many people.

Female students often wear ao dai, so it makes me dumbfounded. In which, many of you are now also famous singers. I like people a lot, but people like me not so much.

I also have a few love affairs but I’m so pure, I only dare to hold hands but dare not kiss“.

Next, the male singer suddenly remembered the past with My Tam and Hien Thuc: “I studied for 8 years at the Conservatory of Music, majoring in trumpet blowing in a symphony orchestra, but I like to sing and often sing in pairs with girls in exchanges.

At that time, there were two hottest girls in school, My Tam and Hien Thuc. These two friends are in the same culture class as me. My Tam is one grade below me. In terms of music class, the three of us study together.

Hien Thuc has been famous since childhood and My Tam has just started to become famous, her name is rising. I got to sing with these two friends. I can hold My Tam’s hand and walk on this road all the time, we have a lot of fun playing together“.
