Fire truck crashes 8 cars while on duty
AmericaThe driver who was waiting in the same lane of traffic on I-15 accidentally noted the priority vehicle hit his car and another vehicle.
In the emergency lane on the left, a fire truck sounded its siren and drove at high speed as it approached the crash, on the morning of March 17 on I-15 in Spanish Fork, Wyoming. From the rear view mirror of the driver who recorded the video, it can be seen that the priority vehicle drove forward and hit the side of the car that had stopped behind and then hit a series of other cars in the same row. The fire truck stops near the container truck in front.
A total of 8 cars were hit by a fire truck. One driver was seriously injured and taken to hospital by helicopter, while two women and four children suffered minor injuries. Three firefighters were also injured.
The incident was investigated to determine the cause of the accident, whether the fire engine was driving too close to the flow of traffic, or the vehicle in the vehicle lane had crossed the road markings causing a collision.
