Slow to “spend money”, a series of public investment projects have their capital recovered
(Dan Tri) – 59 public investment projects in Nghe An have had part of their capital recovered due to slow disbursement.
On March 25, the People’s Council of Nghe An province approved a resolution on handling the remaining undisbursed capital under the plan for public investment from the local budget in 2021 and in 2020, extending to 2021.

Specifically, the recovery of the remaining undisbursed capital under the public investment plan from the local budget in 2020 will be extended to 2021, an amount of nearly 10 billion VND. There are 19 projects with investment capital recovered, of which 2 projects have not yet been disbursed, such as: Investment project to build and upgrade wastewater treatment system for Tan Ky district general hospital, Do Luong, Quynh Luu and the Northwest Regional General Hospital and the Project of the Headquarters of the Party Committee, People’s Council – People’s Committee of My Ly Commune (Ky Son District).
For the remaining undisbursed capital under the public investment plan from the local budget in 2021, more than VND 39.7 billion will be recovered, allowing implementation to be extended and disbursed until December 31, an amount of more than 15 ,3 billion dong. Specifically, there are 2 projects whose capital has been partially recovered and allowed to be extended; 8 projects were allowed to extend and 40 projects had their capital withdrawn.
The People’s Council of Nghe An province also decided to allocate VND 49.6 billion from the recovered source to allocate capital for 7 projects to be implemented in 2022.
