The plane then crashed into the mountains.
At the time of the accident, there were 132 people on board, including 123 passengers and 9 crew members. Chinese officials confirmed that all 132 people on board were killed. Currently, the authorities have found two black boxes of the plane.
To date, China has sent more than 15,000 rescuers and search and rescue personnel to the scene. More than 36,000 pieces of plane debris have been found.
