OPEC+ slightly increased crude oil production

Previously, from December last year to January this year, OPEC+ countries increased production by 64,000 barrels per day, bringing the bloc’s total output to more than 27.9 million barrels per day. However, this number is much lower than the target set by OPEC+.

In an internal report released on the same day, OPEC + also warned that the global economy would suffer a strong blow from the protracted conflict in Ukraine.

According to the report, consumer and business sentiment is expected to be severely affected not only in Europe but around the world if only the inflationary impact of this conflict is taken into account.
