Decree 08/QD-TTg The Government stipulates that the accommodation rental assistance process will go through 6 steps:
Step 1: The employee writes an application to confirm the innkeeper, then submits the application to the company.
Step 2: Within 3 days, the company generates statistics of the list of employees receiving support, posts them for comments and verification.
Step 3: The company transfers files to Vietnam Social Security, Vietnam Social Security review and comments within 2 days.
Step 4: The company submits the list to the District People’s Committee for approval within 2 days, this unit must complete the comments.

Step 5: The district level sends the file to the Provincial People’s Committee for consideration and a decision on support within 2 days.
Step 6: Transfer money to the business, the business will support within 2 days from the date of receiving the money.
Thus, according to the rules, it only takes 11 days from the time the employee submits the certificate of rental status, then the worker can receive the allowance.
Earlier, on the afternoon of March 30, during the press conference of the Ministry of Manpower, Persons with Disabilities and Social Affairs to implement Decision 08, Mr. Le Van Thanh – Deputy Minister of Manpower, Disabled and Social Affairs said that if the implementation is drastic , only mid-April will there be payment of rent support. The first accommodation will be provided to the workers.

Accordingly, Decree 08 only provides for supporting hired workers from February 2022 to the end of June 2022, but the implementation of support will be extended until the end of August 15.
Anticipating difficulties, Nidec Sankyo Vietnam Company said that company leaders held a meeting and decided to advance support money for workers. After that, the company will receive compensation support money later.
