The Android phones with the highest radiation today-Hi-tech Fashion

All smartphones emit radiation, but with varying degrees of intensity. A recent data presentation ranked different smartphones according to their radiation levels.

BanklessTimes has published a report in which they show the patterns smartphone emit more radiation than other samples. The ratings include products from Google, Sony, Motorola, ZTE, OnePlus, and Oppo. Leading the way is Motorola Edge with an emission of 1.79 W/kg, in second and third place are ZTE Axon 11 5G (1.59 W/kg) and OnePlus 6T (1.55 W/kg). Slightly lower are the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, Google Pixel 3XL and Google Pixel 4a.

The entire top 10 smartphones with the highest radiation can be seen in the rating table provided by BanklessTimes. It’s worth noting that the ratings mostly consist of older models, among which are three Google devices.

It is known that smartphone radiation is characterized by the extent to which it affects the body and is measured in units of SAR. SAR is a unit of measurement for the rate at which the human body absorbs energy per unit mass when exposed to radio frequencies (RF).

For the maximum SAR value in different countries around the world, smartphones with radiation from 1.6 W/kg to 2.0 W/kg are accepted. For example, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has set a maximum SAR level of 1.6 W/kg. Based on this parameter, out of the top 10, only the Motorola Edge exceeds the radiation limit.

It’s important to note that all cell phones emit some level of radiation, but this number varies with many factors. These include the device type and model, the age of the device, and the strength of the transmitting antenna. Another factor is the distance from the nearest cell tower.

Phones emit RF waves in the electromagnetic spectrum. While 2G to 4G emit RF in the 0.7–2.7 GHz band, 5G phones can do so up to 80 GHz. Because of their low frequency, they are not sufficient to alter DNA, thereby increasing the risk of cancer.
