“A week ago, Bom was able to return to school after a long time at home due to the effects of the epidemic. Bom was happy and excited. Honestly, I am very grateful to Dr. Nguyen Tien Manh – Dean of Jazz Department – Academy of Music. In the past time, he asked me to drive Bom to his house to return the lesson and wholeheartedly guide him because he was worried that online learning might not be fully effective.

Bom is focusing on preparing for the final exam of the 5th year, the middle school year of the 5/7 majoring in Piano Jazz. I’m also a little stressed because the volume of homework is very heavy, I have to practice more than 10 lessons,” Quoc Tuan shared with the reporter. Dan Tri.

At the age of 20, Bom surprised everyone because of his maturity, height, and independence much more than before. Bom plays the piano every day for at least eight to ten hours. Many times to concentrate, forget the sweat pouring out on the shirt.

Seeing his children love playing the piano every day, artist Quoc Tuan sparkles with joy in his eyes. Bom is affectionate, often calling his father “Bom’s brother Tuan”.

Over the years, the touching story of Quoc Tuan’s father’s journey with Bom to heal has inspired many people.

Bom not only shows the extraordinary energy of an unfortunate boy with a rare disease, but also has an endless passion for music. It was the music that inspired the father and son to have more strength on a healing journey that lasted many years.

Artist Quoc Tuan alone has made many parents more determined in guiding their children to overcome challenges and not surrender to fate.
