Ho Chi Minh City: More than 10,000 6th grade children have been vaccinated against Covid-19
According to statistics from the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City, on the first day of vaccination for children from 5 to under 12 years old (April 16), the city vaccinated more than 10,000 children in grade 6.
Specifically, there are 10,434 children in 6th grade vaccination at 96 injection points in 19 districts, Thu Duc city.
The number of children postponing vaccination was 1,379, mostly because they had been infected Covid-19 but less than 3 months from the time of illness, besides the children with a history of allergies, are suffering from acute diseases. In which, there are 28 cases after screening are assigned to transfer injections at the hospital to ensure safety.

In the first batch, Ho Chi Minh City received 87,500 doses of vaccine for children, then will continue to receive 138,000 doses of vaccine in the 2nd phase and 147,000 doses in the 3rd phase.
