Classic style electric bike for $7,000

AmericaCalifornia-based Vintage electric car company launches a new product line with a 72 V electrical system, a maximum speed of 64 km / h.

Vintage’s 72 V electric scooter line can both be classified as an electric bike or an electric motorbike. In fact, in the US, e-bikes are limited to 32 km/h, and Vintage’s product comes standard with a 750 W electronic limiter mode.

But the car also has a Race mode (racing), and the engine is now up to 4,000 W and the maximum speed is 64 km / h, which is double the standard, which also means that it is no longer in the electric bike segment. However, users can activate Race mode in private areas, closed running tracks, abandoned runways, highways no longer in use – ie areas that are not public.

The 72 V battery has a capacity of 1,152 Wh – one of the largest battery options on the e-bike market. The car is also equipped with a high-capacity charger with a full charge time of 3 hours.

Other technologies include regenerative braking. The bike weighs 36.7 kg with an aluminum frame, upside-down front fork, hydraulic disc brake.

The car is sold in three versions including Roadster, Sportster and Shelby. In particular, the Shelby version has a copyright agreement with the American car company Shelby to use the legendary cobra logo. In the US, Vintage e-bikes cost $7,000-7,250.
