As for Ms. Han Ni, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang sent a denunciation to the Ministry of Public Security and a number of State management agencies, then these applications were transferred to the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department for verification and handling according to legal regulations. the law.

Ms. Han Ni clearly explained, “Those are really clips on my personal youtube channel that I analyze legally the actions and statements of Ms. Hang as well as the legality of the Hang Huu charity fund. This I do. reported it to the police.”

According to research, the Hang Huu charity fund was established by Mrs. Nguyen Phuong Hang and Mr. Huynh Uy Dung (ie Dung “lime kiln”) and named the fund as the name of their common son. The fund has officially operated since September 2014 to sponsor a number of hospitals to perform surgeries for pediatric patients with heart disease, hydrocephalus, etc., whose family circumstances are difficult.

In the period of June 2021, Ms. Hang sent documents to a series of hospitals sponsored by the Hang Huu Foundation to announce the temporary suspension of charity, with the given reason being due to the influence of the Covid-19 epidemic.

In another development, recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security Bureau had two other job offers, asking Ms. Han Ni to provide documents and evidence related to her denunciation against Ms. Nguyen. Phuong Hang about the act of “slander”; “humiliating others”; “abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State, rights and interests of organizations and individuals”.

It is known that from October 2021, Ms. Han Ni denounced Ms. Hang to the Binh Duong Provincial Police Department, stemming from Ms. Hang’s statements on social networking sites, during livestreams. Currently, the denunciation of Ms. Han Ni and 5 other individuals has been transferred by the Binh Duong Provincial Police to the Ho Chi Minh City Police for clarification and handling.

Particularly in the Ho Chi Minh City Police, Ms. Han Ni also accused Ms. Hang of having “threatened to kill” when there were statements on social networks that were “to kill each other”, “meet where to fight”…

Accordingly, the dispute between journalist Han Ni and Nguyen Phuong Hang is quite tense from social networks to real life.

Hang in the livestreams used harsh words aimed at journalist Han Ni and some others. Even Ms. Hang once went to the headquarters of Saigon Giai Phong newspaper, which is Ms. Han Ni’s workplace and home in District 7. Those times brought a crowd of curiosity, YouTubers caused a ruckus, causing a ruckus. Local police must be present to restore order.

In addition, supporters of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang’s point of view, claiming to be “righteous fans” have “terrorized” mentally and even assaulted Ms. Han Ni.

In a specific case, Han Ni and a group of friends who went to have breakfast near her home in District 7 on the morning of March 23 were insulted by a group of 4 people filming and then attacked. Han Ni also verified about these people, and filed a denunciation with the District 7 Police.

Nguyen Phuong Hang was prosecuted on March 24 for the crime of “abusing democratic freedoms, infringing upon the interests of the State, and the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals” according to Article 331 of the Penal Code. .

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security Bureau is in the process of expanding the investigation of the case, clarifying the behavior and role of the helpers and accomplices with Ms. Hang in the livestreams as well as the self-proclaimed youtubers ” righteous fan” insulting and slandering others.

At the same time, the police also clarified and handled according to law provisions for Ms. Hang’s petitions against others, which were sent before she was prosecuted and detained.
