UNIQLO collaborates with Disney to launch a new collection of Mickey Mouse-Fashion Trends
In addition to producing timeless clothing at affordable prices, UNIQLO has become just as much loved for its line of artist collaborations.
Earlier this year, the Japanese lifestyle brand worked with the Louvre Museum on a four-year partnership that began with a collaboration with minimalism artist, Yu Nagaba.
UNIQLO worked with Steven Harrington on a new capsule collection just in time for the hotter summer months to come. Made in conjunction with Disney, the Los Angeles-based artist reimagines Mickey Mouse and Friends by showcasing his psychedelic aesthetic on a range of the brand’s UT short-sleeve models.
“I have been a longtime fan of what UNIQLO has been doing for many years now. Having worked with so many great artists and designers in the past, I am honored to be a part of UNIQLO’s artistic legacy,” said Harrington.
This is the second time Harrington has linked up with Disney, having designed watch dials for Nixon. The UNIQLO x Steven Harrington collection comes in a variety of styles for both kids and adults. The collection launches online and in select stores through mid-morning on May 30.
