Accordingly, the export turnover of this item of FDI enterprises reached over USD 56.9 billion, up 13.8% compared to 2020 and accounting for nearly 99.0% of the total export turnover of phones and components of the whole country. country.

The main export markets for phones and components include: the United States, the EU, mainland China, Korea, and the UAE. The proportion of exports to these five main markets accounted for about 71% of the country’s total export turnover of this item.

Export markets with strong growth are: Hong Kong (up 35.0%), UAE (up 26.8%), Mainland China (up 23.0%). Some small but strong growth markets such as Peru (up 137.6%), Pakistan (up 120.3%), Sri Lanka (up 109.3%).

Exports of phones and components increased sharply to China mainly in the segment of phone components. Export of mobile phone components to China reached US$13.5 billion, accounting for 89.1% of the group’s export value.

According to the assessment of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, phones of all kinds and components are items accounting for an increasing proportion of the total export turnover of the country. In 2021, exporting phones and components also has certain advantages.
