6 mistakes when cleaning the buttocks cause fungus, anal ulcers, and rectal diseases, but many young people make them

Cleaning the buttocks and anus seems to be a simple task, but in fact most of us make mistakes. If you don’t want ulcers, itchy fungi, hemorrhoids or serious diseases of the anus – rectum, stop immediately the following 6 things:

1. Wipe from back to front before cleaning

Many people think that wiping toilet paper from back to front or front to back is not important. But in fact, doing it wrong will easily lead to serious urinary tract and genital infections. Especially for women because the structure of the vagina is very susceptible to infection.

The correct wiping operation, whether it is heavy or light, is to wipe in the direction from front to back. Note that you should wipe it with a soft paper but do not use too much force to avoid burning or counterproductive.

2. Washing too many times a day

Some people like to be clean, they wash the buttocks and anus area 2-3 times a day. However, if it is not during heavy defecation, such washing is not necessary. You only need to clean thoroughly once a day, when changing underwear at the end of the day.

Excessive cleaning will change the physiological state, disrupt the normal excretory function of the anal canal. At the same time, rubbing and irritating many times a day will also make the anal canal and the end of the rectum in a state of congestion, which will lead to anal – rectal diseases for a long time.

3. Only use paper after defecation

The skin in the anus has many folds, so if you only use toilet paper to wipe it, the possibility of feces and other secretions is still very high. A professor at New York University points out that no matter how carefully you wipe, about 0.1g of feces will still be deposited. It sounds like a lot but and 0.1g of this stool contains about millions of viruses and about 100,000 bacteria.

Long-term dirt, plus airtight characteristics, the anus is easy to become a breeding ground for a large number of bacteria, thereby causing many diseases of the anus – rectum. So get in the habit of wiping with a soft paper and then rinsing with water. Preferably mildly warm water or rinse with a gentle spray.

4. Abuse of cleaning chemicals

Many people use shower gel, soap … to wash more clean but doing so will reduce the resistance of the anus. Because the skin around the anus is weakly acidic and has a lipid layer on its surface. Most of these cleansers are alkaline and some chemical ingredients affect the pH value of the perianal skin, hindering the acid balance and washing away lipids.

When overusing cleaning chemicals will cause dry skin, in the long run can cause discomfort such as itching around the anus or inflammatory diseases, allergies. It is best to wash only with warm water or, if specialized, low pH cleaning solutions.

5. Washing water is too hot

To clean the buttocks, especially the anus, most effectively, use warm water. However, if you use water with too high a temperature, it will backfire and cause illness.

According to experts, water at about 35-40 degrees Celsius is the most suitable. Just enough to wash off without killing beneficial microorganisms as well as disrupting the natural environment around the anus and intimate area. In addition, such a water temperature is neither too hot nor too cold, which will help remove the dead skin layer daily without drying or irritating the skin.

6. Not cleaning anus before and after sex

Many couples only care about genital hygiene but forget to clean the buttocks, especially the anus, before and after sex. While these parts are very close to each other, easy to rub, come into contact with each other during sex, stick with semen or mucus, etc., so the possibility of direct infection and cross infection is high.

Especially couples who have anal sex should pay more attention. It is best to thoroughly clean both the inside and outside of the anus, using specialized tools and solutions. The most effective cleaning time is 30 – 60 minutes before sex.
