According to the Associated Press, Biden’s visit was completely secret. The first lady of the United States is the highest-ranking person in the country present in Ukraine amid the current conflict.
The first lady of the United States traveled by car to the town of Uzhhorod, 10 minutes from a Slovak village. Mrs. Biden spent about 2 hours in Ukraine to visited a school and met Ukraine’s first lady Olena Zelenska.
