Price of live pigs in the North
The market for live pigs in the North today tends to slow down in all localities in the region. Specifically, traders in Hung Yen province are now purchasing live pigs at VND 57,000/kg, flat compared to yesterday.
Similarly, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc and Ninh Binh traded at 54,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region. The remaining provinces continue to keep the price unchanged, ranging from 55,000 to 56,000 VND/kg.
Price of live pigs in the Central region
In the Central and Central Highlands, the price of live hog today increased by 1,000 VND/kg in some localities in the region. In which, Dak Lak province increased by 1,000 VND/kg to 56,000 VND/kg, equal to Nghe An, Quang Binh and Khanh Hoa.
Binh Thuan is the only locality in the area that buys live pigs for 58,000 VND/kg. Many remaining provinces continue to trade in the range of 54,000 – 57,000 VND/kg.
The price of live hog today in the Central and Central Highlands ranges from 54,000 to 58,000 VND/kg.
Price of live pigs in the South
Live hog prices in the South increased and decreased from 1,000 VND/kg to 2,000 VND/kg today. Accordingly, after increasing by 1,000 VND/kg, traders in the two provinces of Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Hau Giang, Tien Giang and Bac Lieu are purchasing live hogs at the same rate of 56,000 – 57,000 VND/kg.
In contrast, Soc Trang decreased by 1,000 VND/kg to 56,000 VND/kg, along with Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Vinh Long, Kien Giang and Tra Vinh. The two lowest prices in the region are 54,000 VND/kg and 55,000 VND/kg, recorded in Long An and Ben Tre after these two provinces decreased by 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Live hog price today in the South fluctuates between 54,000 – 60,000 VND/kg.
