Ho Chi Minh City does not raise interest rates with businesses participating in stabilization

The State Bank of Vietnam branch in Ho Chi Minh City has made the above request. The enterprises participating in this program are mostly enterprises producing – trading and distributing essential goods, in the fields of food – food, health care, education to serve the needs of consumption and life. of the people of the city.

Therefore, keeping steady interest rate lending or reducing lending interest rates will support enterprises to keep production costs stable, stabilize prices and not increase product selling prices.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, the market stabilization program in 2022 – Lunar New Year 2023, there are 69 production and business enterprises participating in large-scale, strong brands, occupying a high market share. In which, food and essential food products have 39 participating enterprises, an increase of 4 enterprises compared to 2021.

The new feature of the market stabilization program in 2022 clearly divides 3 groups of participants through 3 forms: supply of goods, distribution of goods and credit support.

The division to clearly distinguish each object will help the city have supportive policies and require more specific and realistic obligations. In which, supply enterprises focus on ensuring production activities, application of technology, investment in factories, development of raw material areas…; centralized distribution enterprises ensure the network, point of sale and organize the point of sale to stabilize the market; invest in developing warehousing and logistics systems…
